Junior Chefs Cooking Camp – Morning Session

Join your Marion Hy-Vee for our Chefs in Training Cooking Camps! Kids will master the fundamentals of cooking through this hands-on culinary adventure with our kitchen experts. Each theme-filled day will entail creating nutritious snacks as well as interactive activities such as crafts and games. In our Junior Chefs camps, children will learn how to make cooking creative, nutritious and fun. Each session will broaden your child's kitchen knowledge with finger-licking recipes that kids can make on their own. From 24/7 snacks to favorite fares from around the world, kids will be exposed to many new foods and flavors. Parents will appreciate the healthy ingredients and lessons on safe cooking and kitchen basics. You supply the chefs, and we supply the rest!
Class Details: For your convenience, each session is offered both in the morning (9 a.m. to noon) and afternoon (1-2:30 p.m.). Kids may choose to attend one or more days of any session, or sign-up for a week-long session at a discounted price. Full-week participants will also receive a camp t-shirt, coupon book and cooking diploma. With the exception of a discount for Session 3 due to the 4th of July holiday, no refunds will be given.
Parents are welcome to stay and participate. Classes are subject to change based on participation numbers. Minimum of 5 kids per class is required. If a camp is cancelled, you will be notified immediately with rescheduling options.
