Question by : Fast Bullet Train: Los Angeles to Palmdale to San Francisco, when are they going to start to build this?
Since the Proposition did pass this November 2008, when will they start building the route for the fast bullet train from Los Angeles to Palmadle to San Francisco? It will be a one hour and a half ride from LA to San Francisco. First I read they would begin building in San Francisco, but haven’t heard anymore.

Even though California voters passed Prop 1A, probably not for a while; the economy/California budget fiasco are putting everything on hold.
The goal is to have it operational by 2030, so there’s a huge timeline.
